Ancil Lea IV Joins Firm

Ancil Lea IV has joined Ancil Lea Consulting as a business development officer. Lea comes to the business after working with CTEH, an environmental health company, as a finance analyst.

“We are excited to have Ancil IV join us. He brings a different skill set we need at this time of pivoting and growth,” said Ancil Lea III, president. Ancil Lea Consulting has worked with clinics, hospitals, and surgery centers for over 33 years. ALC has been a part of Innovate Arkansas for the past five years, working with early-stage health tech companies to get their products to market. ALC is headquartered in Conway, Arkansas.

Ancil IV will focus on business development and business recruitment and will be a liaison between the firm, its client, and venture capital entities. Lea is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, where he twice was a finalist in the annual Governor’s Cup business plan/model competition.

This pandemic made us look at things differently. Personally, it allowed me to rediscover things I’ve neglected for many years and appreciate some very simple things.

All during 2020 and through 2021, one of the simple things that has been a big blessing for me has been these cheap Adirondacks chairs we bought at a local Ace Hardware. We bought half a dozen of them and placed them in strategic spots where we could sit and visit and work outside and just get away. One of the great things about these chairs is the great pivot they give you, allowing you to lean far back and look up at the sky. During late evenings I’m able to sit in these chairs and look at the stars. I watch them twinkle and flicker, and I swear I watch them move sometimes 🙂 Oh, what a blessing it has been just to sit and look at the stars. It brings such great peace to me and wonder, just as if I was a kid again and not 58 years old.

Alongside my star-gazing, during this time, my three-year-old grandson has discovered the moon. He has a great fascination and love for this big shiny, magical object in the sky. The evenings are great when we can go out and just look at the moon together. I remember the very first time he saw it; he ran down our street trying to catch it. So innocent and curious and hopeful that he could catch the moon. It just made me so happy.

As I’ve had time to reflect on my dreams, I’ve also been able to help people with their goals and dreams. This pandemic has moved us all to refocus, and at times like this, it helps me relax and be at peace when I see the stars. These same stars have been out there for centuries – they haven’t moved, and they’re still bright and shining. I’m greatly reminded of God’s faithfulness and steadfastness during times like this. Especially in times like this!
